M.Tech/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/Geomatics or M.Sc. Physics with Remote Sensing background. Experience in handling SAR Interferometry and Optical Stereo data for DEM Generation using various Image Processing software
Job Profile
DEM generation using TanDEM-X SAR and other Interferometric SAR data and also Cartosat-1 stereo data. Comparison of the DEMs and the accuracy of those DEMs. It also involves long field work with GPS at various test sites.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
