RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT

Ph.D. in any engineering or social sciences discipline + appropriate field experience
Masters in any engineering or social sciences discipline + 4 years relevant experience
Bachelors in any engineering or social sciences discipline+ 6 years relevant experience.
The position will involve coordinating and managing projects at TDSC.
The scope of work will include all aspects of a project lifecycle---
solicitation of new projects, formulation and proposal writing, planning and
scheduling of activities, technical design and guidance, documentation and
reporting, overall management of accounts etc. The managers team will include
TDSC project engineers, students and interns for execution and faculty members
for advising and planning.
Currently, TDSC projects are primarily in the areas of water, energy, sanitation
and other livelihood related domains. The manager would be expected to
have a working knowledge and understanding of techno-socio-economic
issues in these inter-disciplinary areas.
A partial list of job responsibilities are,
1. Acquire new projects through stakeholder engagement, following up on leads,
liasoning with organizations, preparation of project proposals and agreements etc.
2. Oversee design, execution, planning and scheduling of ongoing projects---fieldwork,
data collection, stakeholder interactions and documentation and report writing.
3. Guide the development of methodologies for design and execution of projects,
outreach material for training, course development, etc.
At least 5-8 days of field work every month, with stay in rural areas is expected.
Working knowledge of or aptitude for working with spreadsheets, project management
tools etc. is desired.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the
