About the project: To coordinate and conduct clinical trials at leading hospitals in India in human subjects of our newly developed novel 3D scaffold bone graft after obtaining various e.g. DCGI permissions, and to make the scaffolds for this study.
Position & Salary
Project Research Scientist (1 Post
) Consolidated salary Rs.77000/-+H.R.A (if applicable) p.m.
PhD with M-Tech in Biomedical Engineering with Five or more years experience in the field of biomaterials
1.Should have received an independent funding grant and executed it independently
2.Published at least 3 first author papers in peer reviewed international non-predatory reputed journals
3.Experience in synthesizing various biomaterials
4.Experience in performing animal experiment for performance under GLP conditions
5.Experience in performing animal experiment for biocompatibility and toxicity as per ISO-10993
6.Sound knowledge in fabrication of scaffolds using electrospinning, Micro compounder and injection molding, 3-D printing and lypholization
7.Should know how to characterize the biomaterials in SEM, TEM, FTIR and XRD
8.Should have experience in cell culture and gene expression
9.Development of clinical trial dossier for medical device
10.Manufacturing of biomaterials scaffold under good manufacturing practices conditions
11.Should have sound knowledge of schedule Y and M, Drugs and cosmetics Act 12.Experience in conducting clinical investigation of biomaterials in hospitals 13.Experience in writing grant to various agencies
14.Experience in execution of independent project
15.Experience in working with dentists and surgeons
