Position & Salary
Assistant Project Manager (1 Post
) Consolidated salary Rs.40000 - 56000 + Rs.5000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, or Allied Subjects with:
1.Experience of working with self-help groups and their federations
2.Experience of working in the Rural Livelihoods Sector on Income Generation Activities in Sectors like Agriculture and Food
3.A minimum of 3 years experience of Field Research Management of Interdisciplinary Community-Based Research Projects (especially in Rural Areas)
4.Experience of working with interdisciplinary teams, comprising members from disciplines
5.Experience of conducting research with resource-poor communities, especially conducting semi-structured interviews and participant observations
6.Experience of managing and working with a team of researchers and community-level activist, and members of communities
7.Experience of working mainly with qualitative research methodologies 8.Good written and oral communication abilities in English, Marathi and Hindi
9.Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint
1.Participation and coordination of field research activities, mainly data collection activities
2.Identifying and selecting community research sites
3.Coordinating with local agencies and community representatives
4.Preparing detailed field notes and transcribing interview and participant observation data.
5.Conducting thematic analysis and preparing drafts of the research reports and research papers
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the
