Information for admission

-The IITB Fellowhship applicants who are interested in being considered for M.Tech. or Ph.D. will have to submit both
. the Research Fellowship form, and
. the M.Tech./Ph.D. admission form


-The admission forms are the usual forms available on the academic office website and will have to be accompanied with the payment of fees as prescribed by the academic office for the usual admission procedure. A link to appropriate forms will be available here when the application process begins.


- For admission to M.Tech., the interested candidates must have a valid GATE score. They can be considered only under the TAP or PA category for admission to M.Tech.


- For admission to Ph.D., the candidates must have either a valid GATE score or a post graduate degree as specified in the admission brochure. They can be considered only under PS category for Ph.D. admission.


- The candidates who are called for IITB Research Fellowship interviews must bring with them a print out of the filled in M. Tech/Ph.D. admission form (along with a photocopy of Demand Draft) if they wish to be considered for admission. If the department to which they apply decides to consider them for the admission, the candidates will have to undergo a selection procedure (as decided by the department) on the same or the next day of the IIT Research Fellowship selection procedure. A department may recommend admission of selected candidates immediately after the interview or may take a final decision of admission only at the time of the usual M.Tech./Ph.D. admissions.
